Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1st, 1977) is a popular American comic and singer. She became famous for her stint as a star on the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. In the years since, she's appeared in sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto as well as the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her career as a student at Northwestern University she initially enrolled as a voice major and later changed her focus to theatre studies after she began to join the campus improv comedy group. The same spirit has accompanied her through several supporting roles like the overly controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the zany Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite.
